The House of Oudinot was founded at the end of the 1800's by Jules Edouard Oudinot, a winegrower in Avize in the Champage region of France. In 1979 Oudinot took over the prestigious small house of Jeanmaire, then, in 1981the Trouillard family became the owners of both companies and their 83ha of vineyards. These vineyards are mostly located on the prestigious Cote des Blancs, home to the Chardonnay grape. Today, Oudinot remains one of the few remaining family owned Champagne Houses. The winery itself is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and is operated under a strict hygiene and quality regime. Furthermore, Oudinot is proud to be one of only four Champagne producers who have attained the ISO 14001 certification for respect for the environment and total product trace traceability.
